Requested by a customer who read about a \"speed set\" for these machines a long time ago. The one set he found was on a carriage he acquired. He used that carriage and the speed set, made a big difference.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe set (one for each side of back carriage on the Superba, white, singer sit machines)  mounts on the bottom underside of carriage one on each side. They are used in conjunction with motor drive or hand. They align the needles in a perfect position to flow through the carriage. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir=\"auto\"\u003eWithout these, using the motor or fast use, the chance of a bang or hit on the metal of the bottom of the carriage is an issue. These prevent that from happening, make better constant easy patterning, no misspatterning because a needle butt didn't get into proper position. . These make everything so much smoother and consistent!\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir=\"auto\"\u003e  \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv dir=\"auto\"\u003eWe believe these came into existence around 1999 and 2000. When the system 9000 came out.  These would be in essence doing the same thing a \"passap alinea\" does. Only difference being these are mounted on the bottom side of the carriage, where as the alinea is a separate device that attached to the side of a passap carriage.  The \"alinea\" puts all pushers in perfect position for ease of patterning and ease of travel.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"\u003e\u003cbr\u003eA thank you to DV for requesting this, for explaining how they work and of course for testing!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"\u003eYou will see from the pictures where these items fit.
